Making a Great Paper Even Better:

LafeberVet's NEW article on Avian Bornavirus has been updated to better reflect some of the questions and controversies involved as our knowledge base grows:

Avian Bornavirus:  Facts, Questions, and Controversies

Why Were Changes Made?

It is early days yet in our understanding of this complex disease. We are excited to take advantage of this online medium, which allows us to quickly make and share modifications:

  • Is avian bornavirus (ABV) the one and only cause of proventricular dilitation disease (PDD)? Although a causal relationship between ABV infection and PDD has been confirmed, ABV has not been confirmed as the one and only cause of this syndrome.

Visit the manuscript's NEW Questions and Controversies section for additional discussion.
